''Hummus on wooden board with pita, lemon and garlic''

 

Ingredients 

  • 400g chickpeas washed
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Sprinkle of paprika
  • Sprinkle of Cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of Acropolis Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons tahini paste

 

Method

  • Drain the tinned chickpeas and rinse.
  • Put the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, tahini, in a food processor.
  • Keep adding a little of water and Acropolis Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil until you get the right consistency of a paste
  • Drizzle some Acropolis Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil on top of the houmous when serving and add a sprinkle of paprika.
