• 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1 egg
  • 录 cup Acropolis Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 陆 teaspoon salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 陆 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ouzo
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • Flour



  • In a large bowl add the beef and the rest of the ingredients, except the flour and only 2 tablespoons of Acropolis Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
  • Mix until all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Cover the bowl and leave it in the fridge for an hour.
  • Preheat the oven.
  • Put Acropolis Classic Olive Oil on the pan.
  • Roll into meatballs. Then roll in flour and place on pan.
  • Add a small amount of Acropolis Classic Olive Oil on each meatball.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes, turning over half way. You can check with a food thermometer to make sure the meat is done (should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit).
